Although we have received limited customer support for this initiative,  in line with Alba’s environmental policy we have over the last few years reduced our peat usage by the incorporation into our growing medium of other products such as composted bark.  In order to make best use of our expertise and facilities we would suggest that customers requiring stock grown in Peat alternatives discuss with us their future requirements so that we can ensure their requirements are met.
