Field maple (Acer campestre)
The field maple is a smaller tree that is frequently seen around forest borders and hedgerows. It is rather unnoticeable the rest of the year, but in the autumn, its leaves become a rich, golden-yellow. In fall, it bears enormous, winged seeds that are scattered by the wind. Due to its tolerance for pollution, this tree has recently gained popularity in towns and cities.
The size of each plant is between 15 – 50cm in height from the root plug.
