Countryside Stewardship Hedging Pack BN11

Our native hedging packs are perfect for creating new habitats and hedgerows on farm. Our packs all confirm to the Countryside Stewardship Mid Teir, Higher Tier and Capital Grants. With the BN11 grant you will receive £22.97 per metre of hedging planted and our hedging pack is compliant with the governments country stewardship grants criteria.

All plants provided are 2 year old transplants and fir the height criteria of the countryside stewardship grants. Planting should be carried out between the 1st of November and 31st of March to meet the BN11 and BN7 criteria.

What is included in your pack?

Our hedge packs are made from a base of Hawthorn (C. monogyna) with a minimum of 4 other native species, including Blackthorn (P. spinosa), Hazel (C. avellana), Field Maple (A. campestre), Dogwood (C. sanguinea), Crab Apple (M. sylvestris), Dog Rose (R. canina), Guelder Rose (V. opulus) and Buckthorn (R. cathartica).

If the hawthorn base is not suitable for your landscape (i.e. you require a different base for the mix) please get in touch with our sales team for a bespoke hedge pack quotation.

Tree Protection

We offer packs with or without tree protection. If you do not have or are unable to install rabbit fencing to your new hedgerows we strongly recommend the use of tree guards and canes to give your hedgerow the best start. Our protection option provides a spiral and cane for every tree in the pack. If you would like a bio-degradable spiral option, contact our sales team who can advise on best options.

UK Grown

All our hedging packs are made up of UK Grown and UK Native Trees. We do not import hedging stock from other countries.

Delivery

As all plants in these packs are bare root we are governed by the weather and season starting to allow us to ship. Order
