Serbian Spruce Tree (Picea Omorika)

Serbian Spruce (Picea omorika) is a graceful, narrow spired conifer tree, valued for its slender habit and adaptability across a wide range of UK growing conditions. This resilient spruce tree grows on sites from slightly dry to wet soils, and tolerates both exposure and air pollution better than many other spruce species, making it well suited to urban and coastal planting. Dark green needles with silvery undersides create an elegant, two toned effect, while the tree's narrow, columnar form makes it a practical choice even for smaller gardens. Serbian Spruce typically reaches around 15 to 20 metres in cultivation, occasionally taller in favourable conditions.
