Product Description
The Copper Beech is a cultivar of Green Beech, distinguished by its stunning purple-bronze leaves that provide a striking contrast to the green foliage of other plants. This tree grows with a beautiful, spreading canopy that offers excellent shade and visual interest throughout the year. In the spring, the new leaves emerge a vibrant purple, darkening to a rich coppery-bronze as the season progresses. During autumn, the leaves turn a warm russet-brown, creating a breathtaking display of colour.
Copper Beech trees are not only visually appealing but also highly functional. They can be used to create dense hedges or screens, offering privacy and wind protection. As standalone specimens, they make a bold statement and serve as focal points in any garden or landscape design.
These trees are relatively low maintenance. Once established, they require minimal care, making them a practical addition to any outdoor space. Regular watering during the first few years will help establish a strong root system, after which the trees are quite drought-tolerant. Occasional pruning will help maintain their shape and remove any dead or damaged branches, ensuring they remain healthy and attractive.
